Hello! \u00a0I’m Jeanne Rewa.<\/span>

My journey as an equine artist began as soon as I could pick up a crayon. \u00a0It started as a way of expressing my love for horses and as a way to understand them better. \u00a0Over the years my art practice has continually shifted. \u00a0Art-making became a core source of solace and healing since I began living with chronic illness. \u00a0You’ll see that reflected in the way mindfulness and art therapy elements are now woven into my practice. \u00a0No matter what art medium I am using, my work is deeply influenced by my study of traditional Chinese brush painting, which began when I lived in China 2004-2006 and has continued ever since. \u00a0I aim to express the essential elements (feeling, motion, shape) of my subjects through the use of strong gestures and simplicity. \u00a0My art has been sold around the world and included in local, regional, and international exhibitions.<\/span><\/p>\n
